Formal designers mixed with casual and their Men's collection

Menswear fashion in Paris was somewhat more demure than the Men's shows recently in Milan. Newcomer Gareth Pugh, the English designer from London, was one of the few designers who had a impressive show during the week. Pugh show a sci-fi warrior-like collection in his signature color black. Paul Smith paired suits with bright cycling shirts which added unexpected color to greys and blacks. The designers mixed formal with casual and their Men's collection had more profitable viability than usually seen by Viktor and Rolf. The Raf Simons show had a theme of pride and performance.

Simons played with juxtapositions of mixing techno-wear with clean lines and entirely tailored suits. Dries Van Note showed a colorful palette of greens, mustards and silver-tone grays. Staying on trend with other designer of the season, Dries Van Noten also showed trimmings on the runway. Louis Vuitton showed a comfortable collection with silk suits and infusions of color. The collection also showed slightly edgier street wear looks collective with new trainers designed by Kanye West which were in a bright orange-red hue.
